MBTA Communities Public Engagement

The below videos are recordings of public meetings, all or part of which had to do with the Town's approach to complying with the State's MBTA Communties law. The more recent meetings before the Planning Board (starting on February 20, 2024), are public hearings to discuss a proposed Zoning Bylaw amendment and associated Zoning Map amendment to be considered at Annual Town Meeting in May of 2024. Accompanying most of these videos are links to materials presented at the meetings.

April 8, 2024 - Select Board Meeting*:

*Note, at this meeting, the Select Board voted unanimously to recommend "favorable action" on the MBTA Multi-Family Overlay District Bylaw amendment, which is being brought forward for consideration at Town Meeting on May 14, 2024. This video begins at the discussion of the bylaw amendment and the vote takes place later in the meeting.

April 2, 2024 - Planning Board Meeting*:
