About the Board:

The North Andover Board of Health is a five-member board comprised of volunteers appointed by the Town Manager for three-year long, overlapping terms. The staff of the Health Department consists of a full-time Director, one Inspector, a Secretary, and a part-time Public Health Nurse. The Board generally meets on the fourth Thursday of each month in the Town Hall Selectmen's Meeting Room, 2nd floor, 120 Main Street (unless otherwise posted).

About the Department:

The Health Department is responsible for the enforcement of the State Sanitary and Environmental Codes, the reporting and control of diseases dangerous to the public health, and the enforcement of other applicable state and local laws and regulations created to protect the health of all citizens.
