Step Up

Step Up, our community service group for middle school girls, was started in the fall of 2012 as a way for girls to meet new people and get more involved at the Youth Center and in the community.

Step Up has different sessions throughout the school year, where the group meets once a week either at the Youth Center or carrying out a project in the community. You can register for Step Up during each season's program registration. Contact Nicole with any questions about the program.

Over the years we have worked on a wide range of projects to benefit others. Favorite Step Up projects include painting rocks for the Kindness Rocks Project, picking up trash in our community, making crafts at the Lazarus House Family Shelter, volunteering at Windrush Farm, harvesting veggies at the Giving Garden, organizing donations at sites like Project Home Again and Community Giving Tree, running Bingo, painting nails, and serving tea at the Brightview Senior Center, and many, many more!
