We're already looking forward to warm weather, and Stevens Pond 2018! Registration for pond passes and swimming lessons will begin Tuesday, May 1st at the Youth Center.
About the Pond
Stevens Pond is a public beach located at 522 Pleasant Street in North Andover, open for 9 weeks in the summer. The facility is open to North Andover residents only with the purchase of a season or day pass. Hours of operation are 9:30 – 7:00, seven days a week, rain or shine. Certified lifeguards are on duty at all times. Proof of residency and auto registration are required at the time of pass purchase. A season pass is $75 per car, with $20 for an additional car. A day pass is $12 per car.
Swimming lessons are held at the Pond Monday through Thursday. There are two 4-week sessions, and they cost $50 per session. The lessons are for ages 4 and up. Your child will be evaluated on the first day and placed in a group according to their swimming capabilities. Children not in swimming lessons are still allowed to swim in a designated area at this time.
10:00-10:30 – Beginners
10:30-11:00 – Advanced Beginners, Intermediates, and Swimmers

3:00-3:30 – Beginners
3:30-4:00 – Advanced Beginners, Intermediates, and Swimmers
Throughout the summer, the Steven’s Pond staff puts on several events. Included in the past have been sand castle contests, nature hikes, game day, and tie-dye shirt day. Stevens Pond also holds an annual Swim Meet, sponsored by R.C. Lafond Insurance. This swim meet includes events like a backstroke race, freestyle race, balloon race, along with food, giveaways and more!
