About the Pond
Stevens Pond is a public beach located at 522 Pleasant Street in North Andover, open for 8 weeks in the summer. The facility is open to North Andover residents only with the purchase of a season or day pass. Hours of operation are 9:30 – 7:00, seven days a week, rain or shine. Certified lifeguards are on duty at all times. Proof of residency and auto registration are required at the time of pass purchase. It is $75 for a season pass, $20 for an additional car, and $12 per car for an adult day pass.
Swimming lessons are held at the Pond Monday through Thursday. There are two 4-week sessions each summer. Swimming lessons are $50 per 4-week session. The lessons are for ages 4 and up. Your child will be evaluated on the first day and placed in a group according to their swimming capabilities. Children not in swimming lessons are still allowed to swim in a designated area at this time.
Throughout the summer, the Steven’s Pond staff puts on several events. Included in the past have been sand castle contests, nature hikes, game day, and tie-dye shirt day. Stevens Pond also holds an annual Swim Meet which includes events like a backstroke race, freestyle race, balloon race, along with food, giveaways and more! New to Summer 2018 at the Pond was the Log Roll (ages 12+), canoe rentals, and Stand-up Paddle Board Yoga for kids and adults!
