Memberships are for middle and high school students (NA residents) who want to come to the Youth Center and take advantage of the facilities, including the weight room, gymnasium, computer room, lounge, street hockey rink, and rock wall! We have several organized drop-in activities for our members offered daily, along with ongoing programs that change season to season. We also offer field trips for our middle schoolers, tons of special events, and so much more. There are endless ways to get involved!
Students must get a new membership each school year. Our membership year lasts from September to the following August, and costs $125 for the year. We offer financial assistance where needed (email Demi if you would like to apply for financial assistance). Students may come to the Youth Center without a membership one time, and then must get a membership before continuing to participate. We have paper registration forms and online registration available. If registering for memberships and programs at the Youth Center, we accept only cash or checks made out to Town of North Andover.
Once you have submitted your membership either online or by passing it in to the front desk at the Youth Center, the next time you go to the Youth Center, simply tell the front desk staff member that you submitted your membership, and they will look you up and make your membership card! Bring your card to the Youth Center each time you go and scan it at the front desk. If you lose your card, it is $3 for a replacement!
Programs & Field Trips
Check out our page for each season (Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer) for a listing of programs, field trips and events for our current season. As well as offering programs and field trips to sign up for, we also offer numerous drop-in activities at the Youth Center every day. Those are not announced beforehand, but written on the sign by the front desk each afternoon!
Registration can be done at the Youth Center or online. If registering for memberships and programs at the Youth Center, we accept only cash or checks made out to Town of North Andover.
Unless otherwise noted, our programs are available only to members, and our field trips are available to both members and non-members (still NA residents), with different member and non-member pricing.
We hold one dance for 6th graders and one dance for 7th graders each season, as well as an annual 8th Grade Dress-up Dance each January. Dances are at the Youth Center and are for North Andover residents only. 6th & 7th Grade Dances are held 7:00-9:30 on select Friday evenings, and they cost $7 for members and $10 for non-members. Members, please bring your card to every dance. The Youth Center closes at 4:45 p.m. on dance nights. The dates for each season's dances are announced when we release our program information each season, and can be found on that season's program lsiting, as well as here.
