Description and Responsibilities
The Planning Department consists of a Planning Director, Staff Planner, a Department Assistant, and a six member volunteer Planning Board.
The Department reviews and endorses all Approval Not Required Plans M.G.L. Ch. 41 Sec. 81-L and 81-P, all preliminary and definitive subdivision plans as required by M.G.L. Ch. 41 Sec. 81 - K to 81 - GG and the North Andover Subdivision Rules and Regulations, and various applications for special permits, as authorized by M.G.L. ch.40A and the North Andover Zoning Bylaw.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Tuesday: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
