NOTE: A former spouse's or survivor's coverage ends upon remarriage; these changes must be reported to the GIC. Failure to notify the GIC of a legal separation, divorce or remarriage can result in financial liability to the subscriber. Dependents must live in the health plan's service area, unless they are full-time students attending an accredited college or university, trade or secondary school. Contact your health plan for out-of-area benefit details.
