Our crime data will be updated every 60 days. This is due to Federal reporting requirements that want to insure that all data for the time period requested is in and entered. The North Andover Police Department recently modified its crime reporting method from Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) to National Incident-Based Recording System (NIBRS). The primary difference is that UCRs collected crime statistics in eight offense categories; NIBRS collects detailed reporting for twenty-two offenses.
