Fire Chief's Message

As Fire Chief for the Town of North Andover I want to take the opportunity to welcome you our website.  I have been fortunate to serve as a member of the fire department beginning as a Firefighter/EMT in 1986 and being promoted to Lieutenant in 1997, Deputy Fire Chief in 2015 and Fire Chief in March of 2016.

The North Andover Fire Department is made up of 56 dedicated professional men and women who provide numerous services to the community which include fire suppression, emergency medical services, fire prevention and education, response to hazard material incidents and non emergency incidents as well.

We respond to over 4000 incidents each year out of two fire stations covering over 26 square miles. All of our firefighters are certified Emergency Medical Technicians who respond to over 2700 medical calls each year.  The department operates two full time ambulances and the fire apparatus are licensed Class V ambulances.

Our goal at the North Andover Fire Department is to be a pro-active department not just a reactive one.  We are committed to service excellence. We strive daily to make North Andover a safer place for our residents and visitors who live and work in our community.

Again, thank you for visiting our website and please contact us with any questions, comments or concerns.
